Careerpreneur Create Challenge
A 6-month weekly entrepreneurship competition helping young African innovators turn their skills, talents and ideas into businesses. In collaboration with Hanypay Ghana Ltd and the African Diaspora Central Bank (ADCB).
Each weekly winner received $100 in AKL Lumi via Hanypay, plus mentorship, training and business growth support. ADCB funded mentorship, logistics and capacity building.

How it worked
- Register for $7 (or the local equivalent) via Paystack.
- Record a short video introducing yourself, your skill or business idea, and how $100 in AKL Lumi would help you.
- Post it on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok with #CareerpreneurCreateChallenge, tagging @CareerCaptains, @Hanypay and @AfricanDiasporaCentralBank.
- Get likes and support. The 5 entries with the most engagement each week win.
Open to Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Zambia, The Gambia, Sierra Leone, Mauritius and other anglophone African countries.
